Pure plant well-being
To grow, a plant needs light and CO2 for photosynthesis, nutrients and water, which it absorbs through its roots, and the right temperature and humidity.
We grow our plants in a hall in Claresholm, where the plants grow in water with added nutrients. We use LED lights for photosynthesis, release CO2 into the air, and control our temperature and humidity independently of the seasons, wind, and weather.
Our plants grow in a closed and controlled environment. It's completely free of pests, fungal spores, soil bacteria, and dirt particles. Therefore, we don't need to use pesticides or other harmful chemicals. All in all, the plants should use their energy solely to grow large and full of flavor and nutrients.
14 days from seed to harvest, because the plant thrives
Because the plants don't have to battle the elements in the form of wind and weather, don't have to work hard to extract nutrients or water from the soil, or fend off pests, they grow faster. In fact, it only takes 2–3 weeks from seed to plant. It also ensures shorter fibers in the plants, allowing them to absorb nutrients better and avoiding tough or fibrous leaves.
Clean leaves without pesticides
Our plants grow in a closed environment free of fungal spores, pests, or harmful bacteria. Therefore, no pesticides are required. And even though the plants' roots are submerged in water, they should not be watered from above. The leaves are therefore completely clean and do not require washing or rinsing. In fact, the leaves remain untouched until you open the package.
Completely natural – without interference with nature
We constantly ensure that the plants enjoy optimal conditions. From temperature and humidity to nutrition, light levels, and water. Each of these elements is a completely natural part of a plant's life, whether it's growing in our garden, in a field, or in a greenhouse. But unlike in nature, we can control even the smallest details—without having to fight against nature by watering, plowing, spraying, or draining. It's pure and natural plant well-being.
Fresh from the harvest ensures longer shelf life
From harvesting the plants to cooling, packaging, and preparing them for the supermarket, it takes less than an hour. Because we don't have to wash the plants because they grow completely clean, they can stay fresh two to three times longer. This reduces food waste—and you don't have to rinse them before use.
